All of these resources will be uploaded onto Microsoft teams daily for your child to complete on there.

Science
Today is our first lesson of our new science topic 'Plants'.
First, I would like you to make a mindmap all about everything you already know about plants, we will add to this over the course of the unit. At the end we will have a full mindmap full of everything we know about plants!
Then have a go at the question about what plants need in order to grow - there are two sheets (easier and harder). Assess how much your child has understood during the powerpoint.
Is there any new knowledge you can add to your mindmap?

Who are some of our Cornish Saints?
Do you already know some of our Cornish Saints? It's okay if you do not know any.
Saint Piran is probably our most famous Cornish Saint but we will look into him more next week. This week we are going to be looking at three other Cornish Saints (Saint Neot, Saint Petroc and Saint Samson).
Go through the powerpoint with your child, and then your child needs to match the picture to two of the facts that we learnt today.

Talk for Writing
We have had three sessions focusing on learning our new story, so you should be experts by now!
Today you have an option of two different activities. We are going to be focusing on sequencing the story.
Easier - You will have to order the pictures in the order they occurred in the story and explain to your grownups at home the correct order.
Harder - Order some sentences in the order they occurred in the story and explain to your grownups at home the correct order.
